I am in the same boat with my Daihatsu Hijet. Anyone have a source for mini-scissor-jack that can fit under the kei truck driver's seat?
I wish I had thought of this sooner, but if this is a new purchase, I suggest you contact the seller and ask them to help. Since it has been a few months since my mini truck arrived, I have gotten advice to go to a salvage yard and find any kind of import jack. Like you, I want the jack to be able to stow properly, so I have just ordered one from Amayama. Good luck and please keep us posted.
