If it has a plastic cover over the spindle, you should be able rotate that up and a nut should be under there. Recommend pulling the wiper up off t he windshield before loosening. Loosen the nut and it should pop off of there. It may require some assistance with a little tap or prying to get it loose. This is how my van is and my RX-7, so I think a lot of JDM vehicles are similar. I could be wrong.
No plastic cover -- it's all metal. I'm thinking there may be a circlip somewhere holding it on - but so far I can't find one. - Thanks for the tip anyway.
Hey Arty, I learned a long time ago not to try to remove the wiper arms without the small removal, clamp like tool. Especially when they've been on for years and are practically welded on. The tool is similar to the battery clamp removal tool. Good Luck! Limestone
