Does anybody know how to remove the window winding handles from a Daihatsu S83P Jumbo ? The felt has slipped down the channels causing the windows to rattle when open, and I cannot seem to find any clips, set screws etc. to release the winding handles , so I can remove the inner trim panels.

  2. Mine has a clip on the back of the handle which I can't even get to stay in place. Push the panel in behind the handle and you should see is. I've been told the easiest was is to take a shoe lace and slip it in the gap over the ends of the clip and pull. If you break the handle they are available as a doman part from amazon or probably your local parts house for about $3. Same as a Camry.

    Thanks Old.
That is what I suspected, but I did not want to force / break anything. I'd hate having to use my small vice grips for a window winder.

    Cheers
