    Hi-

I have a 91 Sambar S/C. Recently, the warning light that typically indicates the parking brake is engaged (the one with the exclamation point) has stayed on when I’m driving (no, I’m not driving with the parking brake on!). Does anyone know if this light can indicate anything other than that the parking brake is engaged or is it specific to the parking brake?

    Thanks!

Usually those type warning lights could indicate - Park brake on - low fluid level - imbalance front/rear - switch out of adjustment. Check fluid level first as that is simplist & cheapest, then for any out of adjustment items. Possibility malfunctioning self-adjusters on brakes can cause excessive fluid drop in reservoir.

Likely low brake fluid, there is a level sensor in the reservoir.
