I have a 2009 hi jet deck van 5 speed manual. Would like to tow it on a tow dolly 600 miles. Can you just put in neutral and go? Or do you have to disconnect rear drive shaft? It has 4 wheel drive but the front wheels will be up on the dolly. I have searched the forum but don’t see where this has been done. U haul has no issue renting me the dolly. Would it be better just to put it on a trailer? It’s double the money to rent.

I'm no expert on this, but for me, for safety's sake, I'd disconnect the driveshaft. - - On my '92 MiniCab, it's a five minute job, easily done - just make sure to tie up the driveshaft.
I flat towed mine with a tow bar for 600 miles - no problem.
