tramsmission and dif. oil

Any know what type of oil for my tranny and dif. I should use for my 93 sambar how often it should be done. any advise would be appreciated.

Looking for the correct oil for a Subaru E-CVT transmission. Will normal ATF work. Thanks.

 

Hey JMR, I have a 93 sambar truck, manual trans, Super charged 4x4, and despite having a service manual that tells every other fluid in the thing and has complete breakdowns of trannys and diffs (even has an exploded view that points out the drain plugs) but no mention as to what fluid to put back in. I have castrol axle limited slip 80w-90 gear oil in the diff and tranny, runs very well.

 

Amsoil 75w-90 Full synthetic and GL-4 rated.
