I recently applied for a building permit for a new house. It was going to be 100 ft tall and 400 ft wide with 9 gun turrets at various heights and windows all over the place and a loud outside entertainment sound system. It would have parking for 200 cars and I was going to paint it snot green with pink trim. The City Council told me to forget it... AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN! So I sent in the application again, but this time I called it a Mosque. Work starts on Monday. I love this country. It's the government I'm afraid of.
I live in Richmond, a suburb of Vancouver, BC. It's an Island in the Fraser River Delta, think soft, marshy, wet ground. Well on my morning commute to work I came across this fellow who thought it would be a good idea to cross the ditch seperating the road and the property he was to work on by driving through it ... Needless to say it didn't work so well, he burst a water line and ... The city worker there told me in between bouts of laughter that he was looking at $20000 including fixing the water line!
I just about fell out of the damn chair when i saw the gorillas! OldDatsunFan - looks like he tried as hard as he could to scoop himself out to! poor excavator!
