Just bought a Daihatsu Hijet S80Lp with the EB engine code vin JDA000S80003012XX. I don't know what year it is as I was told its a 1992 but I believe its more like a 1988 per the seat belt tag. My problem is the previous owner removed the cap & rotor along with wires and threw the stuff out. So how do I find out if I need the Black or Brown distributor cap? The distributor has a set of points in it but I don't see any condenser, do these trucks need a condenser? Thanks for the any help as I'll need it to get this little guy running again.
