Replacing wheels with 13"x 5.5" from rx-7... How to change lugs?

I need to replace my stock 10*4.5" wheels with a set from a 1980 rx-7 and I read that it requires longer lugs.

YouTube video of lug replacement suggests that there should be a gap they can be extracted and replaced through in the hub flange assembly... But there is not one... How do I remove it to be able to replace the lugs?

I blink that if you remove the brake drums you’ll have access.

I agree with Jigs! Take of the Drum, and knock them out, and the new Longer ones will tap right in,
and the serrations on the Lug will hold the new ones in. Did mine that way.

Also make sure the center hub mates up good with the wheel hub. You may need rings to mind the gap.

I looked at the front of the later 97 onwards HIJETs S200 and Atrai vans
and the front suspension and strut design is identical to the earlier S100

So does anyone know if one wants to go to the later 4 x 100mm
pattern you just need to change diffs or just axles for the rear and
    front uprights from the S200etc?.

Im tired of 4 x 110mm restricting me from wheel choices

They might work. The rear might need a bit of cut and weld to get mounts right. but could definitely be put under the earlier trucks. The front might be as easy as switching out the hub. Same with the fronts
it isa probably maybe kind of thing, teh track is the same so thy will fit, but you may have to do real fab work. Or they could be a bolt in swap.

You need to get on one of the sites which have the parts diagrams, and start looking at part numbers. The newer front components may just bolt in.

I was thinking of just using the rear axles for the rear as the track is the same and also with the fronts.
They front looks identical in every way.

Pity Daihatsu does not have the online catalogues as good as the mitsu one
