I want a rear bed mat, approximate size of 78" x 54". What does everyone use, The only thing I found was a large van mat but it was expensive and I would cut it down and waste a lot of material. Please share ideas and sources for a new guy, many thanks.
I went to the ranch supply, and bought a horse trailer mat. They are 5X10-ft, and are about 5/8-inch thick. They are thicker than the vehicle mats, and do a better job of keeping the bed from getting dinged. I used the off cuts, as anti-fatigue mats in the shop.
I have a dump truck and I bought a 3/8 HDPE plastic sheet to prevent damage and to make it easier to dump.
I agree, with the stall mat! First I painted the bed and inside of the fold down sides with rubberized bed liner, then I throw the mat in, and it really works great! Pretty reasonable cost wise too! Limestone
I did similar, went to tractor supply and bought their mat (probably a stall mat) it was like this one: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/utility-rubber-mat-black-4-ft-x-3-ft-x--frac12-in but it was I think 4X6-6" and it was 50 Bux just marked it with a grease pen and cur it with heavy shears. Still working well a year or so later. Good luck J
