I've got a carbed mitz 3g83 engine that I'd like to play with. The stock carb sucks. No power and no cool factor. The bore of my manifold is 34mm. I did an egay search and nothing came up with that bore size. I was hoping to use something from a motorbike. Has anyone put a fun carb on a ANY kei engine?
I haven't yet but I'm looking for one as well one with a accelerator pump. Have you had any luck yet?
I can't get my head around the whole gravity-fed vs. pump fed carbs part... not sure the needle and seat could handle 6 PSI from my pump. Screw it. I'm back on the EFI trail. The BMW K75 motorbike throttle bodies look WICKED. Can somebody say ITB's!? Can get the TB's, fuel rail, injectors, plenum all for under $200.
