Performance Carb and Timing

    I already have a short tube header and full 2" exhaust
    I just got a 40mm cv pumper carb put on.
    What do I do with my Dist vacuum advance?

    I'm about to try a similar swap on my SK410. I actually hadn't thought about this vacuum advance issue yet so I'm glad I ran into your post.

    EDIT: removed my explanation on SK410 VAU as I realized I totally misrecalled how it is.

    Mine just has a Vacuum Port and a vacuum hose to the distributor.

    Actually, now that my memory is coming back, I think that's pretty how it is on my car too so forget what I replied before! :oops:

    Well no luck with the HD carb, I think it is just too big
    I wish there were a side draft progressive 2 barrel
