New guy here, I'm looking at a Sambar, the blower works but does not get hot. Could this be the dash linkage, inline valve, ? Also a Pic, everybody likes pics, right
I cannot tell what year yours is, but if it is older than 1996 then you cannot get heat out of the dash vents, only from the defroster or the foot settings. There is a sticky about this as well: https://minitrucktalk.com/threads/heat-dash-vents-footwell-vents-defrost-vents.702/
Thanks, I did read the sticky, I should have been more specific. Air but not hot from floor & defrost vents.
There is a blender door which is cable driven. The door could be stuck, the cable could be bent or disconnected.. or some combination thereof. There is also a small valve on the side of the heater core that is actuated by a linkage attached to that blender door too. there is normally a black plastic cover over the hoses and some of the linkages. I would take that cover off (it is on the passenger side of the airbox) and move the controls back and forth while you look at the linkages to see if any are moving.
