Hello, my name is Tom. I am new here (as you probably assumed).

I have recently obtained a tiger truck body, engine, trans, etc. I need to put it together and info seems scarce.

I was wondering if there are some people here or elsewhere that may be able to answer some questions etc as I try to move forward. I can't find any wiring schematics for the engine (a 2004 efi). Somebody had cut the harness and for the most part I have it together aside from a few wires.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2009 that is fuel injected. Mine has the Bosch Motronic ECU under the dash and above the pedals. If yours is close to this, I may be able to help. Have you looked through the available pdf files on the Tiger Truck website?

Great, thank you for offering. Much appreciated.

I saw some on this site. But they weren't like mine. Mine is a Mototronic Bosch 3600010A13.

I'll loop back with you here if you have a chance to help out. There are about 6 to 8 wires on the ecm plug that I don't know where they go. I can list the colors tomorrow.

    I really am grateful.

Okay, so on my ecm harness at the 55 pin connector I have the following wires that are cut.

    Solid black 14awg
    Red w/ yellow stripe 16awg
    Blue w/ 2 black stripes 18awg
    Grey w/ 2 black stripes 18awg
    Yellow w/ 2 brown stripes 18awg

    Thank you again.

It will take me a few days, but I will hunt down the wires. I lifted up my seats to see if any were obvious, and they weren't. In the meantime look through these service manuals on the GR Imports site, they may have the info. They cover the Tiger Star

Okay, great. I will look through them. I don't know this for sure. But I wonder if they stay in the cabin for something? ie: obd2 port, tach, etc.? Just a thought.

I am using this for reference, and I checked some of the wires with my Van and they match up so far.

    http://tigertruck.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/MS201_Wiring Diagram.pdf

    Confirmed:
Grey w/ Black - Seat Belt Safety Light/Switch
Solid Black - Ground, all blacks seem to go to ground (Chassis).

    Unconfirmed:
    Going from manual above:
Red w/ Yellow - lighting system headlight
Blue w/ Black - Tristate Pressure switch - Page 4.1.1-7 ( Heating, Vent, and A/C)
Yellow/ Brown - Vehicle Speed Senor ( Instrument Cluster) 4.2.2-4
