Mitsubishi U14t simple and cheap governor defeat.

    If anyone is interested in how to accomplish this task, go ahead and post to this thread. Pepegrande008 and I have just done so in the matter of a few hours of figuring a few things out. We will post pics on request. With proper instructions you can do it in the matter of half an hour or so. Only purchase was a $30 ICM (ignition control module) and some electrical connectors.

    I would like to know how you did it my truck the ignitor box quit working so got to get different ignition system anyway.

    For all of you that have replied, I am sorry I've been away for so long. It has been a crazy year and alot has happened. My friend that owns the truck has the wiring diagram that we wrote up for the pinto ignition module conversion. That is how we got rid of the governor. When is is back in town I'll snap some pics.

    yes please. ( djcashd@gmail.com ) Ive heard 1991s, on the transmission, they have a block that can be removed so you can get 4th gear.
