Just wanted to let y'all know with little modification I was able to install a receiver on my truck off of around a 99' or 2000 Chevy 1500 that my son gave me. It even turned out better than I thought it would. I was even able to reuse the original bumper without cutting anything except the two little tag holder pieces. The way it sits flush with the bumper almost looks like it was made for it. Originally it was about 2 inches too wide. So I moved the brackets in. I like how they fit over the top of the frame.I've included pictures, 1 one of the part number on the hitch also.
Yes it does. I actually like it better than the ones I've seen that sit under the bumper. Here is a picture of the finished product.
