The mini truck did not bottom out the old F150. But a good load all the same. Put the little guy in 4lo and drove right in.
Here is a few more....A couple 16' 1x6s for a client project and then 13 cabinets from Rona's march sale. Weight wise my record so far is 1700lbs of wet elm wood. Truck bottoms out around 1000lbs.
I put my truck today into straw chopping machine. Straw chopper 495lbs, 150 gallons of water and 2 big guys. Shes running on bump stops but doin the job. pics coming tommorow
Friday morning workout So I took a couple of pics this week And no its still not impressive looking But I counted this time 140 bundles 15.5 pounds each ( weighed on the airport luggage scales ) total weight 2170 Yes I go slow -- not above 40kph Then on the way home I remembered pepsi was on sale at wally world ( I don't even drink pepsi ) I don't know what a 24 of pepsi weighs .... but I got 50 cases ( thats all they had )
here it is well ran it all day in 95 degree heat, this thing is one straw blowing thing, worked good seeded and mulch 7 miles of ditches today. only problem someone almost had an accident staring at the truck 150 gallons of water and that blower 500 lbs
A real work truck, SS, .........very cool Stuff99........If it was fully furnished I'd be impressed, LOL
Yea, that was a handy trailer. We sold it though when I finished building, (It was used to live in on the driveway while I built the house) My Diesel (Brabus clone) Smart GT, is about as modified as you can get, motor, suspension, etc, etc. Way more power than stock, and pulls a pretty heavy load while pulling trailers. (see hitch)
That log is now cut up, but check out the wood Here is that big maple log I had in the back a few weeks back, here it is being milled. You can see how big it really is when you see it on the ground. And the 5" thick wood along with some 3 and 2" too, all 12 feet long.
Loading my truck down with about 1100 pounds of composite decking... Took it like a champ the more I use it the more I LOVE my truck!!!
Oh yeah, he was leaning pretty damn hard... especially when I drove him through the nasty ass clay 45 degree grade, it was almost wheelie time!
This afternoon's task - drywall for basement reno. This is a dozen 12' sheets of 1/2". A little over a 1000lbs.
I found out that those 12 sheets of drywall were only 10 footers. My mistake - trusted the clown at Rona to load the right ones. Went back today to pay for 10 footers but pick up the 12 footers I need for the bloody ceiling! This load was a bit more..........unpleasant. The 2x4's bent and I had to drive pretty slow. The front tires were still on the ground but.......... Oh well I got them home without incident.
Metal lathe Well it might not look it, but this little bugger was 1700 lbs. I went into Vancouver on the ferry to get it.
