I have a 2003 Kia Metro (same as towner) microvan. It has low vacuum and I can't seem to get the carb adjusted. Can someone tell me how to adjust the carb? I got it to idle okay but it is boggy when I put a load on it.

    thanks

did you use a vacuum gauge to check vacuum? boggy on acceleration could be dirty float, accelerator pump ,dirty jets, poor fuel supply, check all your vacuum lines for leaks as well

It is pulling about 14hg of vacuum. I bought this at govt auction and have found just about everything on it to be jimmy-rigged. It looks like they have stuck something on the choke lever to keep it from closing. this could be part of my problem.

My real question is about how many turns out should the idle mixture screw be?
