Any good 5 30 engine oil change regularly will be just fine. I've spent a lot of time reading on oils and as long as its changed when it should be you'll be fine. As for gear oil I'm thinking of going with a 75/90 synthetic just because its cold here and looking for easier shifting at start up temps. You cant really go wrong here either with a oil in this grade whether its syn or not. Put in syn now and dont worry about changing for a long time. Lot of good threads on oils here. Good luck
