Looks like my headgasket is going south on me. Any advice or torque specs? Really not the worst time for it go, could be in the middle of January and then it is damn cold here! Thanks for any replies in advance
I just did a head gasket on my s83p and it was super easy, plenty of room to get it done, Mine was warped and needed a machine shop, so I would check or have someone check that! I torqued mine to 40 ftlb, in a 3 way split starting at 20 and ending at 40, working from the center out rotating criscross pattern. Realistically it only took a couple hours each way, off and on good timing marks and such, loving these little beasts!
Question for you, I have a Subaru Sambar with possibly a bad head gasket, (hopefully thats all) How can you tell if the head bolts are reuseable? Thanks ~ Phil
