Im in need for front Struts for my 1998 Daihatsu Hijet S110P..Im not paying $500 for them.there has to be a replacement that will work.anybody know....?? I just replaced springs with 250 Blue ones.and 2 inch lift.Great ride..but when in fields.where its rough..I still bottom out alot.My struts are bad,I think..I can pull them out but hard and slow..but they push in way easier ! would that be faulty? I tried to order over seas.but got message back today...As of now the shipping rate has went through the roof!..they cant ship anymore.

  4. Have you checked Rock Auto? I got a set for my 89 for Rock Auto in England for much less than that including freight. Go to rock Auto site and click on British flag to get to listings for Daihatsu.

There’s an owner using 1988 Toyota Corolla coil overs on FaceBook. Clearly these weren’t cheap as they’re anodized and adjustable for height and dampening. Appears to work with little to no modifications according to the owner.

Here’s what I did on my new struts! I wiped them down with acetone, masked of the parts I didn’t want to paint, using VHT High temp paint, I applied 3 coats let sit for 24 hrs and then using VHT High Temp Clear coat applied 2 coats and let sit for 24 hrs to protect from rock chips. The same with the brake caliper and rotors but used VHT caliper cleaner, caliper paint and clear coat. I have found out of all the aerosol paints I have used that VHT and Eastwoods paints spray the best and don’t run or drip. You get what you pay for! Don’t cut a corner to save .50 cents because you won’t be happy in the long run. 83DB34E1-FA5E-4FEE-A079-F32FCDB28410.jpeg 33A1D9CA-EF5E-40F0-88A3-358AEB1FDACD.jpeg 9D35C923-2F28-405C-B878-E1DB8F439589.jpeg CF19BC79-ADAD-4EBF-AB50-1AA6CAD31BE0.jpeg DF1D2A25-E119-45F5-B2DD-1D9C6B64C5E4.jpeg 33A1D9CA-EF5E-40F0-88A3-358AEB1FDACD.jpeg 9D35C923-2F28-405C-B878-E1DB8F439589.jpeg 9D35C923-2F28-405C-B878-E1DB8F439589.jpeg A5BBAD4C-68E2-4A00-9766-55466524911A.jpeg B000DC4C-DCDB-405B-AEC9-9B2173F27059.jpeg 83DB34E1-FA5E-4FEE-A079-F32FCDB28410.jpeg 33A1D9CA-EF5E-40F0-88A3-358AEB1FDACD.jpeg 9D35C923-2F28-405C-B878-E1DB8F439589.jpeg CF19BC79-ADAD-4EBF-AB50-1AA6CAD31BE0.jpeg DF1D2A25-E119-45F5-B2DD-1D9C6B64C5E4.jpeg A5BBAD4C-68E2-4A00-9766-55466524911A.jpeg B000DC4C-DCDB-405B-AEC9-9B2173F27059.jpeg 83DB34E1-FA5E-4FEE-A079-F32FCDB28410.jpeg 33A1D9CA-EF5E-40F0-88A3-358AEB1FDACD.jpeg 9D35C923-2F28-405C-B878-E1DB8F439589.jpeg CF19BC79-ADAD-4EBF-AB50-1AA6CAD31BE0.jpeg DF1D2A25-E119-45F5-B2DD-1D9C6B64C5E4.jpeg A5BBAD4C-68E2-4A00-9766-55466524911A.jpeg B000DC4C-DCDB-405B-AEC9-9B2173F27059.jpeg
