I have a F6A rebuilt engine for a suzuki carry ready to go, my question is, if I decide to buy a Suzukie every van, can i use this engine? will it fit? i notice that the oil pans are different between the two.
could I just bolt on a every oil pan and be good?
I am noticing that the FA6 I have supposedly will not fit in a jimney either.
I am confused as to why and I can't seem to find out why.

I think they are the same except for the oil pans and maybe the engine mounts but I have no first hand knowledge to help out with. The manual and online parts diagrams don't distinguish between van or truck for t he motor mounts.

Not sure you can swap oil pans. My van has whats called a type 2 oil pan and I think the type 1 is for trucks but it could be based on model changes to the F6A block. Type 1 is rectangular and type 2 is very different in shape.

I would say the engine mounts would definately be different, yes.
