I got sick and tired of spilling my adult beverage due to sitting it on the dash because of no cup holder's. I decided I must remedy this problem and purchased boat fold out cup holders. The passenger side installed easy, but the driver side required some modification. You can see I had to grind away at the holder to get it to fit over the door handle bezel. This was so I could open the cup holder to clear dash when the door was closed. A quick easy upgrade.
Steering, shifting, playing with the radio, adjusting the wipers AND holding a drink. Something had to give.
I like that spot, Ive got the same style but mounted mine to the passenger side of my shifter cover, works pretty good as long as I don't have a passenger, then it just gets folder up.
