    Hi all.

I’m just about to pick up a 1998 JDM Subaru Domingo 1.2 EFI van with no engine currently installed (but comes with 2) and with a broken CVT gearbox.

I’m looking at getting this van back on the road to use daily so am considering my mechanical options before I dive in.

Hearing that the CVT boxes aren’t that great I’d love to make it manual to make it bombproof and a better drive.
How much work would be involved in doing this? Can the required parts be found easy enough in UK/Europe?
If this isn’t an option, can the normal auto box (not CVT) be fitted any easier?

Any advice would be great to help me get this little thing back in the road!

    Thank you ☺️
