We bought a 2001 carry with the motor out of it and were told that the motor was a rebuild but had burnt valves. We sent the head off to be rebuilt and tried ordering new valves but every valve set we ordered were wrong. The block says f6a on it and the head is fuel injected. Is it possible we have been hosed and have an injected head on a carberated block? We have 2 blocks that both say f6a on them but only one head. If we can't buy the right valves is there anywhere to buy a new head. We've been told that this year is an odd duck on a few things. Any help would be appreciated.

I would try G&R Imports, they are a sponsor here and good guys with an extensive inventory.Good luck.

    In case you're still looking...

Cushman Turf Trucks use the same engine. I got valve shims/shim tools from the local Cushman/Jacobson Turf dealer.

  4. It’s very simple to figure out if you have the VIN number as we can simply look in the computer to see what came with the truck. The Fuel injected heads are different than the previous years but the block is the same except for the pistons and compression.
