Im having, what i think, is carburetor issues. i had trouble starting it but have narrowed it down to the auto choke. But once i manually open the choke and it warms up, i am able to drive it around but after about 15 minutes is bogs down when i press the gas.
did you change the rev limiter ( what every one calls the governor control) the bog down sounds like a stopped up converter when it bogs down next time see if you smell a odor from exhaust and light colored smoke not oil smoke smell or gas smell its kinda weird smell
Thank you for your help. I will check that next time i ride it around. Switching from winter to summer config on the vacuum system wouldn't have anything to do with my problem would it?
Hey sorry for some reason I just saw these msgs.
I ordered new coil springs because my front end was bottoming out but I think it is the wrong size. They're 10" long 2 1/2" ID. I got 250lb coils. Is the ID too small?
