Hello I acquired my 1990 Daihatsu Hijet S83P with hydraulic lift tail gate and 80,740 kilometers From my son in-law, he bought it from the school district and they couldn’t get it running and he tried, he said I could have it if I could get it running! No fuel so I replaced the Mechanical fuel pump, nothing, replaced fuel filter nothing, found a crack in the fuel line so it’s sucking air. Replaced all the rubber fuel lines. Little blue mini runs like a champ now!!! I have since put 2 1/2” lift, 25x812 mongrel 10 ply tires, 12x 7 vision rims with 4 on3 off set, new water pump, timing belt, timing tensioner, new hydraulic pump belt, alternator belt, new valve cover gasket, rotor and cap, plug wires, spark plugs. Electric fan temp probe and sensor, all new radiator hoses, thermostat which some one never had one in there. Painted the timing cover and valve cover Toyota off road Red. Replaced the factory seats with 2002 Ford Explorer leather seats. A lot more to come.
