    Retired US Navy Postal Clerk/Parachute Rigger. Retired from Government service after almost 20 years working for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
    Owned and Operated a boat canvas/Upholstery shop on the side for 16 years.
    Although limited automotive skills, I am an avid do-it-yourselfer!

    Bought a 1992 Daihatsu HiJet S83P a few months ago. Modifying with 2" lift, 24-8x12 atv wheels. Added a rear bumper (home-made with 2" receiver hitch) and a front bumper (home-made) with 3500# atv winch. Replaced AM radio with Baupunket AM/FM/Aux raidio (from Amazon) for less than $13! Replaced leaking fuel tank. Replaced right (drivers) CV axle. Next it the brakes! Still working on idle issues.
