There is a vacuum actuator on the front differential. You can test it with a vacuum pump to see if it holds vacuum and see if it activates/deactivates the front diff. Also you should check your 4x4 lever linkage to see that its adjusted properly. I would check G&R imports for the parts you need. Also call Leon at daihatsu help for any additional trouble-shooting advice.
