About
New owner of a 1999 Subaru Sambar TT2.
From southern Missouri.
I have been following the forum for about a year now. I’ve been looking for a truck with AC and my new truck isn’t great, but ok!Interact
Signature
1999 Subaru Sambar TT2 36000 miles/60509 km.
AC/PS/AIR BAGS/EFI. 5 speed with 6th Crawler Gear. It is registered, inspected and fully insured for the road. I don’t drive everyday normally, but when I do I take my Sambar tt2 out, which is all rural and mostly 30 miles round trip or less. I also have 2 antique Chevy trucks. A 58’ and a 66’ both short bed step sides. I bought my Sambar from Arkansas Mini Trucks who I’d recommend. I got my truck at a great price and it came with a title along with a 30 day dealer plate.
So far:
I’ve put a new complete leather interior in my truck along with a new Bluetooth hands free stereo and new speakers. I’ve done all the recommended maintenance and the truck runs, drives and stops perfect.
Next on my list will be custom wheels and tires. I have brand new tires on the OEM wheels but I’d like to get a set of custom wheels and some sort of knobby tire that will ride decent on dry pavement, but also grip in our rare snow storms as we have a lot of ups and downs on our hills. I really don’t want to add a lift kit unless absolutely necessary for an inexpensive decent set of wheels tires.
My truck has a few dents I plan on taking care of and then paint or possibly wrap depending on the cost.
I’ve owned the truck about 4 months now and have enjoyed it a lot so far.
(I’m try to figure out how to upload my photos although there’s nothing special about my truck)
