Hi Matt, sorry it took so long to reply, but, I just signed back on! I own both the Subaru Domingo and a Suzuki Turbo Every. I would choose the Domingo for everyday driving as I like the torque available from the larger displacement engine. I also like the fact that I can seat up to 7 people! The Every is great, driving style is completely different though. Really peaky small displacement engine which only gets going from 3000rpm onwards. The Every is better for carrrying cargo though, completely flat load floor that's more than 5'8" in length ( I have the old body style now, the newer body style had almost 6' in flat load floor.) It only seats 4 though and that just doesn't work when I have a bunch of kids to move around ... I wouldn't buy a normally aspirated Suzuki with a 657cc engine though. I had one of those too and man, it was too slow!
