I'm on my second JDM vehicle now and have learned a LOT when it comes to the state of Missouri.
BOTH of them had already been titled in other states.
So no, I am not versed in "newly imported" titling.
Although I'm 99% certain that what I have done and experienced does apply.

Overall?
Not a really big deal.
What throws Missouri for a loop is the short JDM VIN.
They're wanting 17 digits and nope......our rides don't have that many.

Very new to all of this, only got my van delivered a couple of days ago and we are struggling to find diagrams or workshop manuals to help is work through the rebuild. I am also stuggling to upload a pic of the intercooler to this forum to show what I need so I hope you can visual it! There are 4 smaller tubes coming off the intercooler and we can not find out where they go. My back left indicator light wouldn’t work even after buying new bulbs. I finally pulled the socket out and noticed the inside of the connector was coated in green corrosion. I didn’t know what the green meant at first, but it turns out it’s oxidized metal—pretty common on older trucks, especially if moisture gets in.

To fix it, I used:
