I am going to be in Japan for a month this summer visiting the in-laws with my wife and would like to buy a kei truck to have shipped back to the east coast of the US. From this forum and other sources I am familiar with the various companies that purchase vehicles through auction and handle the rest of the paperwork to get it to a port in your home country. However, and since I am going to be in Japan, I would like to actually see a vehicle before I purchase it to have it shipped. Does anyone know of an exporter that has vehicles that can be seen prior to purchase for shipping? I would like to deal with an exporter vice a local used car lots since the local lots would likely have no or limited experience with the shipping process which I need assistance with. Any recommendations for exporters with inventory that can be seen is greatly appreciated!
