Well, after 4 weeks of waiting and 2 Hurricanes, my Jumbo finally arrived today. I can't find the year make anywhere on the truck. It is a 5 speed, 2 wheel drive and has A/C. The tires are brand new Carlisles on a 3 inch lift. Somebody slap this stupid grin off my face.
VERY nice!!!!! I am new to the mini trucks, but if it were a US built vehicle, the tailight light lenses would have a year date as part of the lens casting. You might look there an see if there is anything useful. I really like the jumbo cab!
NICE The red with stripping is a nice change from all the white trucks. Any reason why you chose 2wd and put offroad tires on?
Thanks guys. Before this one, I have never seen a red one. RE: Subaru, This is the way I got the truck, guess you could call it a "Pre-Runner". Even if it hadn't come with the wheel and tire set up, I would have put them on anyway, I like the beefier look. Four wheel drive would have been an added bonus, but since I don't hunt and I have a Toyota 4X4, this will suit me just fine. With the right tires, you can get through most situations offroad. I have only had to use my 4x4 feature on my Toyota no more than 6 or 7 times in the 14 years that I have had it. Now if BFG only made T/A All Terrains in a 12 inch.
The gear spacing is like my Toyota 4x4. This is my first RHD, so shifting and driving is going to take a bit to get use to. Larry, I do need to talk to you or any other MS residents about license tags. All I got from the seller was a Bill of Sale out of Georgia and a company of Bill of Sale from the dealer that he bought it from. Someone from MS givwe me a call; 601-590-2153 greg w.
Except for the headrests it looks identical to mine which is a '91 Hijet, even to the color of the front bumper before I painted it. I like the stripeing really dresses it up.
Are those leather buckets? You pimp, you... Very nice truck - I like it in every way... the extended cab, color/graphics, wheels/tires... they all compliment eachother well.
No not leather, some type of vinyl houndstooth pattern. I have recently removed the 3 inch lift and the off-road tires and wheels. I have put on 13x5.5 inch Ansen unilug slotted wheels with 185/60/13 tires. I also made a 3 1/2 inch bumper. Now if I can just get my radio situation worked out. If not, I am thinking about building an overhead console with built in speackers.
