try checking out Japanese/Asian sites for parts rather than the north American mini truck parts dealers, they jack up the price. also cross reference part numbers, Mitsubishi should use similar plug wires for other models and you can probably find a set of Champion or NGK at Canadian Tire for 50 bucks
Thanks for the replies. I like the idea of finding something local rather than pay shipping. Just need to check the lengths from something like an echo. Currently making a probe for my scope to see if I actually need plug wires.
