has anyone seen or heard about this icon before? these mats came with my truck with a matching sticker on the rear window:frustration:...any info about this icon would be great thanks sorry about the double post
Hey Oldsnow - I just bought a 1990 Mitsu MiniCab with the same floor mats! I was kinda wondering the same thing about that funny little guy!

JCE is out of business as of October 31, 2008 I got a letter from Steven @ JCE on the 4th stating they are out of business as of October31, 2008. It stinks but until this EPA thing is figured out there will be more to follow I am afraid.
that is really not good to hear that JCE is no longer...that is where my truck came from, and my dealer got some really nice stuff from them, so i guess the US problem is coming to Canada
Yea, I was pretty disappointed too. He was always a straight shooter with any dealing we had. I think the EPA scare has more than one exporter reevaluating their business plan. I certainly wish him luck in the future.
So it's name is Goritan, seems to be the mascot of sorts for JA (Like the badge you see on the front of trucks) / Autopal Over a decade bump, but this was literally the only thread about the lil guy on the site.
