Welcome slowpoke, Welcome from northwest FL. Plenty of good people and good info on here. Post a few pix of your Suzi..........later,slim
Welcome! Nice truck, did you do the camo? Or did the truck already have it? Hoping to do that to mine this spring.
I bought it half setup,6 inch lift, rhino lined and camo,i am going to add an extended cab to it,as well as get some not so agressive tread for hiway travel,i will post pics of my progress, hopefully all will be done by turkey season, thanks
Nice truck although, if I understand what you posted correctly, it has a 6" lift installed? :sly: You need some of these to finish the look: HD Suzuki Bumpers Have fun with your new utility machine.
Hey badger i looked alittle closer i believe it is a four inch lift, that bumper is sweet, that is just what i need for sure, the only prob. is convincing my wife to shell out the money. How much does the front bumper weigh, and what guage steel do you use, thanks
Hello rogers,i live in lincoln,i bought it off a fella in texas,he bought it from a large shipment and set it up for his 9 year old boy,he put 200 miles on it and decided he wanted a four wheeler,i just happened to stumble across it at the right time,it gets around the woods as good as my yamaha rhino,i wish i knew about these little things before i bought my rhino,oh well, lesson learned i guess. What kind of truck do you have? Its good to know a fello mini trucker in these parts..
I have a 92' carry I bought last March. It's got a/c, 4x4, and rear locker. I lifted it 2", added all trail tires, camo, reverse lights, KC lights, bed liner, seat covers, and bumpers to it. I will close the deal on some hunting land in Madison County next month and will leave it on my land to use in lieu of an ATV or side by side. It will get me to my deer stand, haul firewood/debris, etc. I agree these little trucks offer a lot of fun and utility for a fair price compared to the side by side ATVs. I wish our beloved state made it easier to license them though!
Pic of the back up lights. (at ~$25 invested) are a great add on if you plan on driving it on the trails or in the woods after dark. The tiny reverse light on these things doesn't offer much useful illumination when backing up on dark trails. They're $10 driving lights from autozone, with a $4 relay, a little wire and a few electrical connectors. I pinched into the reverse lamp wire to trigger the relay so they automatically come on when you shift into R. With the engine off, key on, and truck in reverse they will illuminate to hook up trailers, etc.
That is a sweet truck!,i love the back up lights,i've got the lights, but never thought about wiring into the the reverse lamp,i am gonna do that for sure.I also like your front brush guard, did you make that,or buy it from some one? That is slick.I talked with the revenue sevice in lincoln, they said just bring in the japanese title, and they would tag the truck, send the old title off,and i would get an arkansas title back, sounds simple i thought. They arnt as busy as some of the bigger towns i guess.
Welcome from Nova Scotia Canada Sweet ride you have there! z ps: that dumb grin you get when you jump in to go for a toot... well it doesn't go away on it's own... just seems to keep happening Have fun!
I'm new to the forum, live in south central Ozarks of Missouri, in Mark Twain National Forest, what a great place to have a mini truck, I've recently purchased a 95 Honda ACTY, I've been checking it over and doing some minor repairs since I got it. Reading about the different mini trucks, Hondas dont seem as popular as some others, I'm amazed at what this truck will do, even with the worn out stock tires. My quad may be retired soon. I'm an avid outdoorsman and I believe this ride will do all I ask of it! I enjoy reading all the messages!
Hello ozark mo.i hope you get it the way you want it before turkey season, that is my plan anyway, these trucks are so quite, they will be great for turkey season.I just sold my rhino,i dont need it anymore. My truck will get the same places my rhino would get, plus i am warm and i can get to my stand without every deer in the territory knowing i am there.Good luck this season and post a pic of your truck,we would love to see it..
I was planning a return trip down to bentonville in march, but i think it has been canceled due to a friend having a stroke...
Hello Everyone! New to this site and the whole mini truck thing altogether but LOVIN IT!!! I posted an album on my profile or in the albums section of my first project truck.
