1. Rear-end an Accord, bending both forks. 2. Call your minitruck-driving friend for assistance. 3. Man-handle it in and strap it down! :frustration:
These pictures were taken in August, if I recall correctly. The truck is a lot faster on the summer wheel/tire combo.
The wheel/tire combo is heavier and the snow tires are wider, with siped tread blocks, which deform and add resistance. The 12" summer treads and narrow, light, and have minimal tread complexity... their rolling resistance is much lower. Acceleration-wise, there's not a huge difference... but my top speed on the winter tires is ~55 MPH on flat land, where I could hit ~70 MPH with the 12" tires. Colin
Collin, what did you have to do to get your truck registered in MN? I am up on the range and thinking about buying one.
We're not allowed to talk about these kinds of things. Its a secret. Look here. http://www.minitrucktalk.com/showthread.php?t=188
Yep. It's sort of a long story (one that Colin is well aware of I believe!) but that is the policy of this forum. Of course, that doesn't mean that you and Colin can't have a discussion off line. mmmmkay?
Sorry for overstepping the line on my first post. Collin, if you can pm or email me some info it would be appreciated.
