Like I said I just want to make sure that all of you out there still wanting to offer a older model are in luck.
Welcome aboard Mike. Good job. I know it is alot of work. Thanks for leaving me the new Suzuki trucks for a little while. Wink, wink. Bob
That's why we certified every truck but that one, between your group, Bob, Yamagin, and the group in TX, we figured that model might get a little pricey with everyone bidding on it.
Freemont: The truck prices have not changed a bit with the US buyers either in or out. Buyers in New Zeeland, Africa and other places picked up any slack. It was big joke that US buyers accounted for any measurable amount of purchases. Keep buying, you will see what I mean. If your buyer is telling you that you are important for anything other than being another checkwriter he is fibbing.
Got-cha! Good luck nontheless. I think the market is large enough, given the number of players remaining and the target areas they have chosen.
Yeah, the truck prices suck, they are at least as high as they were last year, I was hoping for a bit of a break! The Suzie's are yours, nobody's had any real interest in getting those certified....for now Our certs don't particularly go by year but KMs so we're going to be able to do new and used of the three EFI trucks. If we get in a Jam maybe we can swap some certs now and then, what'da think bob?
Sure! Why not! G&R Mike and others in the certification group; the Daihatsu motor was changed in 2008. It is now a S211P motor with 12 valves. To be safe you might want to consider only buying up to 2007 which was the last year for the S210P. This makes me the only dealer that can sell 2008 and newer Daihatsu trucks. Yippee! I'm gonna be rich, rich, rich I tell ya. I'm on top a da world!
I am glad for you guys to be back importing.............what about automatic transmissions can you get vehicles with auto trans?
We have automatics. Check the site. We will have approved speed limiter soon for trucks that have to be speed limited. Automatic and standard transmissions.
And I thought you were already rich... Did they move the computer on the newest Daihatsu...seems to always get wet on the S210P.
My first thought was to answer "wish that I was brother, wish that I was" But then I started thinking about my family, our health and just being born in a country that is the best in the world. Yeah! I'm rich alright! Just not like you might have meant. I will get back to you on the computer after I check where the little devil is.
Just accidentally found this and thought Bob may have something to say about who was actually first The first to get a certificate for this very environmentally friendly vehicle is MichTrucks and JDM & Associates from Petersburg, Michigan. The group at JDM & Associates started their testing efforts late in 2008 and received their certificate for the Suzuki family of mini off-road trucks in April of 2010. The truck certified is the Suzuki Carry and other Suzuki Kei Class vehicles which are marketed as the Suzuki Carry, Suzuki Alto and Suzuki Every.
