It's got 5Speed Jumbo Cab High and Low Range I'm no expert however. What do y'all think of it? Plus, anything I should be watching out for?
excellent truck, I would jump on this truck . I have a friend down the road with one and it performs as well as any other mini.
Might be a stupid question, what's the slider with the white and red triangle? Thought it controlled AC and Heat. Is it just for the heater?
If you decide to buy this truck. Let it idle for at least 5 minutes to determine if there are any vacuum leaks. While not the end of the world it can be a very frustrating experience to track down. Do a visual inspection of all hoses and wires. More than likely some will need replacement. Keep that in mind when offering money. Depending on your intentions. Look at suspension and tires. tires should be 170/70R13 with 250# front coils. A must have when traversing rough terrain. Good luck Tony PS--take some notes and cross reference part availability and cost
Did a bit of searching, couldn't find much info on what you mean by that. When you say cold air, you mean like there's just a fan, but no A/C unit? Not really following.
yes just a fan that will blow air. a bit of a bugger in hot summers . But I could be wrong check for a AC compressor. Usually though there will be a AC button.
Appreciate the advice man. You should totally put all the little things to look for in a single thread somewhere, info on what to watch out for and what you need to have as options is very scarce. Requires digging through tons of different sources and I still am lacking knowledge in quite a few areas it seems
If I'm remembering right, the slider will have the white area for non-AC and that area will be blue if it came with AC. It should have a Push-on/Push-off button if there is AC installed. Fred
One more thing. How many Km does the odometer read. At 100,000 km's the engine will need timing belt and water pump and gaskets. not real expensive parts but consider your time and tools your looking at 4-6 hrs plus $150 for kit.
doesnt the s83 odo roll over at 100k and go back to 0 so a low km truck may have 100k plus what is on the odometer
1,140, but it'll be another grand for shipping. Not sure if I want it though. No AC is a deal breaker.
no worries about asking price I just looked for myself. so all in with shipping your looking at $3000 + . That truck won't last long. jump on it now
