Yes you can convert a Subaru Domingo/Sambar into a proper campervan...

I have just converted Genevieve, my 1995 Subaru Domingo, into a camper van including storage, sink, hob, fridge, leisure battery, mains hook-up, single bed and even a commode!

The work was done by Darren at http://www.vantasticcampers.co.uk/ with the upholstery contracted out to Mark at http://www.mk-autoupholstery.com/. I think they did a brilliant job.

I'm still looking for swivel seats for the front. Don't care what condition they're in and willing to import them from anyway in the world (to the UK).

Here's a few photos. What do you think?

Very, very nice job...five hand claps for you.

Out in the Badlands, we tend to be a little more interested in 4x4 conversions on our camper vans, but hay, I wouldn't turn down an interior redesign. Especially one so well done...very nice self-contained unit.

Nice whisky holder! That is a beautiful conversion. Best of luck finding swivel seats...

yes, I gave specific instructions that the storage had to cater for a bottle of single malt!
