Yellow plate accuracy

Hi everyone - I'm going to order yellow plates for my 89 Carry from these folks (https://www.licenseplates.tv/japan-638.html) and am trying to get them as accurate as possible. Does anyone know if the chassis number or any other number for that matter provides information as to where the manufacturing factory is/was located or how I should go about uncovering any information about it's history? Fortunately, I found a couple of Japanese business cards and notes on scrap paper as well as what appears to be a parking pass, tucked up under the dash. It was helpful as all together they were pointing to places in Hiroshima where a previous driver/owner visited.

Thanks in advance for any info I might be able to use to further uncover and restore the history of my truck

I can't get onto the website due to Navy computers biased against most websites, but you can see if this gets you anywhere when you enter your short vin into it. http://jpcenter.ru/month

I had bought from LicenseplateTV and liked what they gave. I made my own numbers that represent other stuff... but maybe down the road I'll get more authentic.
