There are very few good condition US Honda Insights and the Japanese versions tend to have better paint, better battery programming, better fuel economy, lower miles, better interior and even with shipping seem to be a much lower price. The trouble I’m having is that there are very few insights listed on the usual sites I used to visit (like 3 cars nationwide) I’m not sure if there are better ways of finding normal Japanese cars that aren’t special or of interest in foreign markets to export once they hit 25 years old.
Can be hard to find being as obscure as it is. If you do not have any luck and require any assistance on the Japan side (we're based in Osaka), we can happily look at that for you.
