Hey All, I have a 2003 Daihatsu Extol S203 that I am trying to find a lift kit for. It uses coil not leaf springs in the rear. Any ideas where to try would be much appreciated. Thanks
You might be able to source one in Japan. but, I doubt you will find a kit in North America, just because it is too new to get the emissions and safety exemptions of he older vehicles, which are more common. So, your only options are to find a reputable shop to do the work, or learn enough about suspensions to figure it out for yourself. If you want a really good book on suspension theory, without all the math of an engineering text book, look for a copy of Fredric Puhn’s “How to make Your Car Handle”. It is getting a bit dated, but hte basic theory is explained well. it shows up on Amazon, but be careful how much you pay for a copy..
