Looks like you did a nice job! I still need to do something for mine so I can 1) mount some kind of a snow plow on the front and 2) pull a trailer on the back.

Yup, that's what I'm aiming for too... the rear was easy, but the front is gonna be a challenge. Srsly. I'm thinking about doing a brush guard that goes all the way back to the transmission brace with a skid plate and stuff...

With no real "frame" on the Honda
The front was the worst to do

Ended up welding up some brackets - with 3 inch bolts welded onto them - pointing down
Welded those to the frame/subframe ( not really much material there to work with )

Then fabbed up the bumper so that it can bolted on

Its pretty farmer-ed on there but it works for a first attempt
Got the basics of what we wanted ( bolt - unbolt )

Next time we want to get something else for the bumper

Maybe get one of my brothers buddies to bend something up properly sized
All one piece would be nice

In theory at least, should be able to un bolt the bumper, and bolt on a plow
or at least fab up a piece to bolt a plow to
At least there is something there to work with now

I dont off road with it, but I like Ironraven's idea of the full metal jacket underneath!
    Do it in aluminum checkerplate
swoop up from underneath, kinda wrap up around the front bumper
3 or 4 bolts on each side for easy removal .....hoooya!
All we need is money .... no problem :0

    BTW
Did the first test run last night

    It worked great !
Half my load in the truck ( 900 lbs )
Other half on the trailer ( 900 lbs )

Drove slow, but way better than loading the whole load on the truck

Just a note on trailer wiring
Cause not all of us know this - (now I know)

Trip to the store #1 - buy the flat 4 connector
You can't just wire in the flat 4 connector to you lights if you have separate tail - signal lights

    ooooo noooo that doesn't work
So I find out AFTER wiring the whole thing up

You have to use a 5 to 4 converter ( some call it a brain box )

Trip to the store #2 - buy the 5 to 4 converter

    Wire THAT in

Then you find out the dang trailer lights don't work !

Why is it trailer lights never work??????
The trailer hasn't moved in 6 months
    They worked last time

    NOT fighting with this KRAP!!
Trailer has to be on the road in 6 hours

Trip to the store #3 - buy the magnetic trailer lights

    OK
    All is good now
