Is there supposed to be a gap like this on the window trim? The pictures are of the driver's side, but it is like that on both sides.

That seems a little odd to me.
I will check mine tomorrow to see if it is the same

  3. Mines the same way on both sides.

Mine has the gap as well

  5. Does anyone know what these are called and where I can get a new set for both sides? I’m guessing it’s called something like an inner and outer side window rubber guide trim maybe?
Mine are dry rotted, badly cracked and getting worse. Sometimes it goes down with the window.

When I looked it up for my van it was called a "Weather strip, front door outer left" as an example.

If I can't find it this summer, I'll get one of our students from Japan to help me when he returns in September.
    Thanks

FYI: my hijet does not have a gap. In fact the horizontal window rubber is notched to allow the vertical trim to pass under it. Same on both sides.
