I've been trying to find information regarding when JDM vehicles switched off of R12 refrigerant, and if they switched to R134a afterwards. The most that I've been able to find is that vehicles manufactured in the US after 1993 would have R134a, but I couldn't find any information for Japanese vehicles. Some forum posts I've seen for non-kei JDM vehicles seems to suggest that the switchover date would have been later, but I haven't found any results that mention any specific date, or even year range.
