some guy wants to sell me this mini truck.. anyone know what kind it is.. I havent had a chance to talk to him about the truck yet but he did mention that it was a 2006.. any ideas?
They ALL look Chinese to me OK I can get away with that "PC" wise I am actually half Chinese Just had to say it
yeah im sure i could figure it out if i was near the truck.. i just thought someone might know by sight.. it kinda looks like a newer / cheaper version of the autozam.. im trying to do a little research before offering the guy any money..
based off the design of the box i think it might be a Wuling. they are known for copying the suzuki carry.
Yeah Wuling appears to be the closest truck but i still havent seen any that have that center grille..
i wasnt able to take that many pictures, the owner wasnt there so the guy helping me out was being difficult. managed to take about 5 but two came out very blury. I'll post the good ones.
The truck is a 2006. it said it on the seatbelt tags and on a little sticker on the heater core. All logos appeared to be ripped off. the truck looked really cheap in quality... (even worse than my 92 hijet)... The truck did not have an engine or transmission but it appeared to have an automatic trans and a 970cc engine.
there is no motor or transmission in it?? wth? and cant get over 5.7km on it.. thats gotta be wrong..
I am pretty sure its a zap truck That front end looked familiar google it check the images its a little bit older model, but not too old many of them were electric Interesting stuff http://www.skyscraperlife.com/latin-bar/19741-se-fabricaran-en-montevideo-los-primeros-autos-electricos-de-l.html http://www.zapworld.com/
thats probably why it didnt have an engine or trans.. He drove the shhh out of the electric engine or he sold it and now he wants to part ways with the truck..
The speedo is Chinese...hsjm made the gauges on the Atvs I used to import...the other writing looks Korean though
must been an older display model or something that it has low miles and no engine or transmission in it. closest thing i could find on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANX_xAbElpA whats buddy asking for it? cant be that hard to drop a gasser in there.
Or.....it prob wasn't able to be licensed..so he grabbed its bits and put them in something that could be...either way if its cheap enough..I'd grab it and rebadge it as "homebuilt" and put another drivetrain in as stuff said
