Sweet, sound system is almost ready.

    6200BT Pioneer deck
    5 1/4" Energy Components
    4x6" Energy speakers

Tested out the components in the AE86 and they pound, HARD!

Going to shake up the cab for sure with some Deadmau5.
    RAISE YOUR WEAPONS !

Updates on sound quality and pictures soon.

Good stuff guys and gals. Just placed an order for the Wolo horn. Replaced all fluids with synthetic. Gas mileage up to 26 mpg from 23 mpg. Might be just the fact that it has been driven the past year and had the crap blown out. Knocked out the honeycomb in the cat. Good info on the led lights as well. Would like to change all lights with the exception of headlights to led. Would like to change tires to the 14" bfg mud and snows. I think it would be ok as i rarely see speeds over 40 mph. It would be much quieter I'm sure. Plus, I would like to get rid of that flat spot thump when starting out on cold days. But that is another can of worms.

    LOL

I'm from Iowa and actually miss the weather.

Some nutty people here wear flip flops with the battery powered heated socks. It must be a fashion thing.

    That's too funny!!

I was in Vegas at the end of December last year
I was in shorts and a tank top
It was easy to spot the locals
    They were in PARKAS

Yea, I can see Iowa getting some good winters

It's easy to miss them from the land of perpetual sunshine though ;)

I've driven through there in the summer
    Beautiful rolling country side
    Nice

Must be fantastic in the winter on a sled

Well I'm "thinking" about putting a system in my truck.
The am radio just doesn't really cut it.

Not sure about the short deck though, it's not standard depth.

    Anyone?

dont you need a 24v stereo to?

    Check this thread

    http://www.minitrucktalk.com/showthread.php?t=6157&highlight=radio

If a standard size deck would not fit in mine
I would order one of these

    Who needs a cd anymore?

I even saw one in walyworld on my last trip to the usa
    LOVE IT

BTW if you search ebay for a similar model
You will find others like it
    and pretty cheap

Yes, but I arleady did a 12 volt cigarette lighter for a gps, I could do the same on the deck

I used the old wiring from the old deck and figured which one was the 12v constant and the 12v on/off. :D

Put an add on my door!

Maybe I can make a few bucks?

    Now that I added extra leafs it's a 2 ton, not a 1.5 ton.

    And the brakes are massive.

    So I should be good.
