Looking to go through and replace all fluids and oils in the next few weeks. Is there a resource on here for a full list of oil and fluid recommendations?
Not sure of a list anywhere but I can get you going in the right direction. What motor does the U62T use, is it the 4A30 turbo? ** EDIT sorry I mispoke >>Most of these little turbo motor call for 10w30 oil What type of transmission do you have? - Most of these auto transmissions will be just fine with a Multi ATF fluid, like the Valvoline Red Bottle you can find at auto parts stores - Manual transmission will most likely want gear oil and this will depend on your outside air temps. You could probably run a 75w-90 and be good year round. If running in a really hot environment you may go thicker if cold you go thinner Gear boxes. Are you all wheel drive? IF yes you have a transfer case, front diff, and rear differential - Same logic as above, gear oil and find a viscosity that suits your location. I run 75w90 year round and shes good to go Other stuff - Find your fuel filter and change it - Prepare to replace all drain and fill plug gaskets when doing gear oils. Make sure you crack your fill plug first before draining fluid so you know you can get fluid back in - Check air filter
Engine oil is one of those things that can be debated until the end of time. I found this link from japan which has a few different model year breakdowns and engine oils listed. It shows lost of different viscosity listed throughout different years so not much help BUT I did realize that it seems most of the turbo motors call for 10w30 I run 10w40 in my non turbo...... Im not a fan of 0w oil and believe its more of an emissions based thing but any of the thinner oils will be fine for your motor. Looks like you have the 3G83 https://www.hks-power.co.jp/en/product/oil/list/mitsubishi.html
